Network Summer Party

The Research Network held its annual Summer Party ơn 4th July. The venue, as in previous years, was the 3rd floor bar and terrace of Doggetts Coat & Badge at the southern end of Blackfriars Bridge. With its glorious position directly overlooking the Thames and views of St Paul’s, Unilever House and the river, it’s a great place for a party even when regular heavy downpours force the participants indoors for long periods, as happened this year.

The event attracted a large number of members and guests – over 60 of them. This record attendance reflects the terrific efforts of our Champions in extending our visibility and membership and we hope several of the guests will themselves become members of the Network. Credit goes to Jane A’Court for organising the membership campaign and also to Jane Bain and Jane Gwilliam, whose tireless work ensured that the event was a true success.
