Adam Phillips steps down from role as AMSR Chair
Wednesday, January 29th, 2025
Adam Phillips, who heads the Research Network’s Steering Group, is to relinquish his role as CEO of AMSR, the Archive of Market and Social Research. He has run the Archive since it was first formally established in 2016 and will remain a member of its Board of Trustees.
He comments: “I have been involved with AMSR since its beginning ten years ago, and its Chief Executive for eight years. We assembled a wonderful team of volunteers and together we have helped create a unique archive that will introduce young people to the fascinating world of Market Research and Insights. It has been a longer journey than I expected, but one that I am delighted to have been part of. It has been one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences of my working life. I will remain a Trustee, and I am looking forward to having more time for my other interests, including the Research Network.”
Adam will be succeeded on 1 April by Richard Asquith, who has been a member of the AMSR Executive Committee and Trustee Board for over two years and is currently its Deputy Chair. Richard gained most of his extensive research experience at Kantar and now works as a consultant specialising in media research.
